Britwind’s turbines are in the “small wind” category, providing clean, green renewable electricity for families, small businesses and community groups around the world.

The holder will be responsible for furthering the outward image of the business, developing sales channels, generating leads and closing deals.
Selling primarily through a network of resellers and installers as well as direct to end-users, the holder of this role will be expected to create and maintain a constant pipeline of opportunities using an appropriate CRM system. Management of existing installer relationships and cultivation of new ones will likely be the primary sales route. In addition to direct turbine sales, the holder will be expected to innovate alternative revenue streams, such as Power Purchase Agreements, whilst also devising routes to installation for customers who lack the capital funds to invest directly.
The holder will be responsible for devising and implementing a sales strategy which directly guides the business towards its mission of reducing fossil fuel usage through increasing renewable energy capacity. This will necessarily include both UK and overseas markets.
Location
The role will be based at Q-Park, Bath Road, South Woodchester, Nr Stroud, GL5 5HT. However, given the nature of the job, frequent site visits may be necessary and a willingness to travel is required, including some overnight stays, possibly overseas. Flexible working can also be considered. Should the need arise to change your working location, you would be expected to move to an alternative site within reasonable commuting distance.
