About The Role

Our Customer Support Advisors provide a vital support function, assisting our customers with their account enquiries to ensure that we deliver an exceptional level of service.


Core Responsibilities

We would like you to provide an exceptional level of service to all of our customers via telephony, email and face-to-face, you will be taking ownership of customer queries to offer first contact resolution where possible, you also need to ensure the customer receives the best delivery of service in order to maintain our customer base.  This will include both Inbound & outbound contact – a high level of customer and industry communication is required to facilitate effective query resolution and ensure information is compliant against Industry standards. We will also ask you to handle customer support center administrative duties, including but not limited to: Meter Readings and related enquiries, general Direct Debit and Payment related enquiries & handling enquiries relating to all Ecotricity Group products and services

About You
You will receive full industry training through our Departmental and Academy training programs, however, the role and industry can be quite challenging so we do look for all candidates to have a proven academic ability or understanding of a similar industry.
Skill Set Required
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills across a multiple channels.
• Excellent time management with ability to prioritise workloads
• Good level of numeracy
• Good level of computer literacy including Microsoft Office packages.
• Accuracy, Tenacity & Integrity.
Educational Requirements
• Educated to GCSE Level or above (Maths & English essential)

Ecotricity is the greenest energy company in Britain. In fact, when we started back in 1995, we were the first green electricity company in the world.

Our mission was and remains to change the way energy is made and used – after introducing green electricity to the world, we introduced green gas to Britain in 2010 too.

Our model is unique: we use our customers’ energy bills to fund the building of new sources of green energy. We like to refer to this as turning ‘bills into mills’ – energy bills into energy mills, whether that’s wind, sun, sea or gasmills.
