About The Role
Want to work for the world’s greenest football club in a role full of progression? Then becoming our Sales Support Coordinator could be just for you.

You’ll be working as part of a small but ambitious team, determined to take FGR’s off-field commercial activities to the next level. Supporting various members of the Commercial Team, and reporting to the Commercial Manager, you’ll help coordinate and deliver across hospitality, ticketing and other matchday experience activities.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable meeting supporters, multitasking a busy workload answering a large number of inbound calls/emails, making outbound calls, as well as a whizz at things like Excel and Word. You’ll be looking to progress your career over the next 12-18 months and make a real impact in your work.

About You
 Overall Description of Duties
  • Be the public face of Forest Green Rovers, engaging with visitors, guests and supporters of the Club
  • Coordinate all hospitality onsite, through the whole journey from start to finish
  • Supply information and assistance to the general public, other guests, clients and customers.
  • Answer telephone enquiries, providing support and selling tickets
  • Overseeing reception during the week and management on a Matchday
  • Work closely with the Ticket Office Manager, Head Chef and General Manager
  • Responsibility for cashing up, recording payments and working with the finance team
  • Manage and organise the FGR Community Stand Scheme
  • Organise match day entertainment, with groups such as street dancers and cheers leaders
  • Provide administrative support service
  • Carry out tasks related to match days: pre, during and post-match, including allocation of tickets, car parking, press-box, programme distribution, officials’ documents etc
  • Support close season activities, including season ticket renewals, sponsorships
  • Other administrative duties as may reasonably be required
  • Responsible for cashing up and banking, on Matchday’s
  • Able to complete specific projects for the club; e.g. EPOS tills, PDQ machines, improvements in onsite catering/bars, admin efficiency project and those that fit into our sustainability ethos.
  • Provide cover for the Ticket Office Manager
  • Any other responsibilities, as required.

  • Great organisational skills, including workload prioritization and attention to detail
  • Basic IT Skills (including MS Word, Excel email and Internet)
  • Polite & friendly manner

Other requirements

  • A full driving licence
  • Ability to be flexible with working hours
  • Subject to DBS Disclosure certification

You’ll be working 5 days per week, including home matches (varying Saturdays and occasional Tuesday evening). A day off in the week is provided in return.
