About The Role

The role sits within our workforce management team, reporting into our head of service support. With a main aim of creating forecasts and capacity plans for all front and back office teams within service and operations.

At a time of exciting changes to the service and operations environment this role is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to take the lead on truly embedding workforce management principles into day to day operations.

This role is very people focused, we are looking for someone who will spend a lot of their time working with key stakeholders across the business to help us meet key objectives, but also ensure there is time to working on improving our WFM processes using our workforce management system.

What you will be doing

  • Supporting continuous service and operational improvements and using data to make recommendations
  • Gather and analyse a broad range of data to develop insight and conclusions to influence staffing and resource plans.
  • Provide feedback to managers, team leaders and heads of to help support their teams
  • Using our WFM and CRM system to provide critical MI to ensure effecting operational management
  • Help develop and support ongoing maintenance of WFM planning processes for multiple teams across the business
  • Through effective stakeholder management to ensure we are hitting and where possible exceeding KPI’s
  • Taking the lead on formation of budgets and forecasts
  • Work closely with other members of the WFM to enhance the teams influence across the business
  • Research WFM best practice through external vendors and support
  • Creating short/medium- and long-term forecasts for front and back office teams
  • Identify drivers causing deviations to planned performance. Be able to effectively communicate this to stakeholders
About You

Here’s what we are looking for

  • Experience in forecasting and planning for front and back office teams
  • Extensive knowledge of workforce management systems
  • Experience with managing and influencing stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent time management and personal organisational skills
  • Can work in a fast paced environment
  • Some utility industry knowledge would be beneficial but not essential
  • Analytical and logical thinker with the ability to get creating with solutions to resource challenges
  • Extensive knowledge of MS office applications especially excel
  • Adaptable thinker who can identify and quickly adapt to changes
  • Solutions focused and resourceful
