About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity, for a creative thinker who can pragmatically bring campaigns to lifeto join the Campaigns & Content Team at Ecotricity. You’ll be at the cutting edge of some of our most challenging, bold and daring campaign activitymanaging and producing alcontent  as well as leading on the day-to-day customer communications, ensuring consistency, quality and relevance of copy across all channels. 
About You
We’re looking for someone who’s ready to hit the ground running, you have an impressive background of managing a range of tasks at any one time, working under pressured timescales and managing expectations with a range of stakeholders.  


You possess sharp, well-honed copywriting skills and a true love of the craft of writing. Working on some of our most exciting and compelling campaignsyou can confidently curate copy to engage with audiences across a range of channels; including DM, social, advertorials, editorials, social, digitalYou’re accustomed to adapting your approach for different types of requirements – sometimes you’ll write with brevity, sometimes with more detail. Sometimes you’ll communicate in simple language and other times with a more scientific or technical bias. 


As someone with their finger on the pulse, you take a natural interest in familiarising yourself with the story of Ecotricity, our target audiences/customer personas (both domestic and business) and you keep a close eye on competitor activities in the market. You’re proactive in ensuring a thorough understanding of the products you’re writing about, as well asin researching trends in commerce, popular culture and new advertising trends and technique.

The right person for this role will be a team player, supportive and approachable with team members and colleagues around the business. You’ll be transparent with channel owners, giving clear & realistic timelines for completion of work and keeping stakeholders informed throughout the process.  


You’ll bring extensive professional copywriting experience and integrated marketing exposure including working across a range of different channels. With experience in a reputable creative agency or in-house team you’ll have a striking portfolio of work and be proud to show it off.

About Us
Ecotricity is the greenest energy company in Britain. In fact, when we started back in 1995, we were the first green electricity company in the world.

Our mission was and remains to change the way energy is made and used – after introducing green electricity to the world, we introduced green gas to Britain in 2010 too.

Our model is unique: we use our customers’ energy bills to fund the building of new sources of green energy. We like to refer to this as turning ‘bills into mills’ – energy bills into energy mills, whether that’s wind, sun, sea or gasmills.

We’ve built over seventy wind and sun parks across Britain, we’re planning to build Britain’s first ever Green Gasmills, and through Britwind, our small wind company, we design, build and deliver small wind turbines to landowners and businesses throughout Britain and the world!
